Malton & Norton Branch Hold Tea Party

On Saturday 28th July, Malton and Norton Branch held a Tea Party in Norton, as a social get together and also to raise funds!

25 members attended the event and we raised £129.50.

It was fabulous to see so many new faces come and join us for a glass of Prosecco in the afternoon sun.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended and for your kind donations and also a special thank you to Judith Jones who organised the event!

Watch out for our next social event, which will be a wine tasting evening.

Norton Councillors call to cut vehicle speeds.

CALLS are being made for speeding restrictions – and a duck crossing sign – on a main road through Norton.  Cllr Bryan Barrett said: “It is not just Welham Road which has the problem with speeding vehicles, it is also an issue in Beverley Road and Langton Road, so perhaps we need to look at moving the signs there as well to further out of town.”
