Conference was brilliant, extremely positive, and your delegates Mark White and Mick Johnston can’t wait to tell you about it. You can watch the Conference Hall events online, you can read full text of all key speeches e.g. Jeremy Corbyn. But there is much more to Conference and you can’t fully ‘get it’ without being there or talking to people who were. So please come to this feedback meeting and ask any and all questions. The General Meeting is for all members and supporters from 11.00am to 1.00pm Saturday 20th October at The Friends Meeting House, 19 Castlegate, Pickering, YO18 7AX. There will also be a report from Mark White on the Thirsk By-election campaign and lessons learned for 2019 Council Elections, an update on Parliamentary Selection, a proposal for affiliation to Labour Coast and Country and consideration of any nominations for the National Constitution Committee. There will be plenty of time for questions and discussion on all items – plus tea & biscuits. What’s not to like?
