This year’s AGM was a great success. Starting with a riveting and highly instructive talk on the Brexit fiasco by Richard Corbett, our MEP, followed by in depth discussion with many members getting involved. The meeting adopted a Constitution and Plan and most Officer and Co-ordinator positions were filled.
Lindsay Dade, Helen Harrop and Julia Chapman did not stand for re-election. Many thanks to both for all their work since the 2017 AGM, a period during which the Party came on by leaps and bounds. We are delighted to welcome new officers Bryan Barrett from Malton and Norton Branch and Guy Cooper from Vale of York Branch.
We still need the following :- Campaign Organiser, Youth Co-ordinator, Trade Union Liaison Co-ordinator and to meet the Party’s gender balance requirements all need to be women.
Please mail firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested in any of these.
